We always knew Lauren Conrad had a dark side to her.

The reality TV star debuted her darker brunette locks at Wednesday's (Jan. 5) CoverGirl 50th birthday party in West Hollywood.

It's not a super dramatic change, but very natural-looking, considering she never did go toobleachy with her blonde.

According to Us, Conrad had looked to Mila Kunis and Jessica Biel's hair tones for inspiration.
