Holly Lahti, single mother from Idaho, is Mega Millions jackpot winner

Holly Lahti, a bank teller at Inland Northwest Bank and single mother of two from Rathdrum, ID, has come forward to claim her half of the enormous Mega Millions jackpot she won last week, reports ABC News. But she is trying very hard to avoid the spotlight (and who can blame her).

Sources tell KXLY out of Idaho that Lahti quit her job as a bank taller and her relatives say she is "very deserving" of the prize. Lahti has a husband, Josh Lahti, but they are estranged. The couple has two daughters, ages 10 and 12.

Brad Wilde, the manager of the store where Lahti bought the winning ticket says, "She's very sweet. Very down to earth. Just a really nice person. Good head on her shoulders. I think she'll do very well. She's taken some time to get things lined up."

If Lahti takes the lump sum, she'll get about $120 million before taxes and roughly $81 million after taxes, according to CBS News. If she chooses the annuity payment, she would get roughly $7 million a year for the next 26 years before taxes, $5 million a year after taxes.

Congratulations to Holly Lahti!
