Hilary Duff shoots down pregnancy report: 'Maybe I should start wearing tighter clothes'

Fear not, "Lizzie McGuire" fans who don't want to feel old: Hilary Duff isn't pregnant. On Jan. 19, tabloids reported that the 23-year-old actress/singer/author was expecting her first child with husband Mike Comrie. Before the rumor could really take off, Duff reached out to Access Hollywood to deny she's becoming a mother anytime soon.

In a text message sent to Access' Billy Bush, Duff says, "Nope, not pregs! Be nice to know who my 'friend' is though that is telling people that." Duff is referring to the "close friend" who told tabloids the star was pregnant. She also says, "Maybe I should start wearing tighter clothes."

To really seal the deal, Duff also took to her Twitter to deny the report. "Wow what a way to wake up and fine out your pregs! It's just a rumor guys!" she tweeted. "Not True. But thanks for all the good wishes! Lol."

Duff and Comrie married in August and have been dating since 2007. Duff has said, "Obviously we're really excited to have kids in the future, but not anytime soon."
