Golden Globes 2011: Alec Baldwin: 'You have to make [politics] your singular focus'

Alec Baldwin followed Jim Parsons on the Golden Globes red carpet and as Ryan Seacrest is politely telling Parsons to move it along so he could talk to Baldwin about his political aspirations, Parsons turns to Baldwin and snarks, "Oh my god, you have trumped the entire red carpet with your damn political bids! Unbelievable."

Baldwin then addresses with Seacrest his CNN comments about running for office. "I'm just doing what I'm doing now. We have another year of the show after this and then after that, I don't know what I'm going to do. That's something I'm interested in, but it's something that you have to make that your singular focus."

When Seacrest presses him for whether he could make a difference and help the system, Baldiwn dodges with ease.

"That's you and I on our own show talking about that. You and I are goign to talk about that on another show," says Alec.
