Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens split: The apocalypse begins

 Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens (or as we endearingly call them: "Zanessa") have split, E! reports. The Disney power couple, who met while filming "High School Musical," dated for five years. Excuse us while our inner-tween dies a little inside.
Thankfully, there is no drama behind the split. A source tell E!, "It's nothing dramatic. There's no third party involved." Another source echos the sentiment, saying "They were together for so long. It just ran its course." And don't fret, the source adds they will remain friends.
