There's no reason to believe Aretha Franklin died
Because it wouldn't be the holidays without an epic celebrity death, Twitter is trying to destroy soul legend Aretha Franklin.
Rumors of her death began flooding the site on Dec. 27, and though it is true she recently underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer, there has been no update on her condition since she told Jet magazine she was on the mend.So let's cut out the morbid hashtags, wish her a quick recovery from her operation and try to make it to 2011 without losing any more greats.

The Twitter folk are just ignorant. They got the IVORY Queen of Soul-> Teena Marie (who did die this week) mixed up with the Queen of Soul-> Aretha Franklin. A lot of stupid & gullible people on Twitter, unfortunately.
Wish her a quick recorvery? she has pancreatic cancer, there is no quick recovery with pancreatic cancer, barely 5% of the people diagnosed with it live 5 years after they find out.
