Shelley Malil: '40-Year-Old Virgin' actor gets life in prison
"40-Year-Old Virgin" actor Shelley Malil was sentenced to life in prison on Dec. 16 for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, Kendra Beebe. In court, Malil said, "I want to do whatever I need to do to make sure I make right from the wrong that I did."
In September, Malil, 45, was convicted of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. While he confessed to stabbing Beebe, he said that after he found drinking wine with another man at her home, he became disoriented, which lead him to attack a figure he believed was going to hurt him. Malil stabbed his ex more than 20 times. Beebe's injuries included a punctured lung, and cuts to her back, chest, arms and neck. 'What I did to Kendra, I don't have the words to express my remorse," Malil said.
Malil, who is most well-known for his role as one of Steve Carell's work colleagues in "Virgin," will be eligible for parole in 12 years. He could possibly complete his sentence in nine years depending on good behavior and time served.

Gotta love the justice system.
He hacks apart a person and can be out in 9 years.
They should let him be a human dart board for the rest of his life
I also think he should have to serve the full term. However, his victim is still alive.
Victim is alive by chance @ 23 times she could have been dead.
