Shania Twain engaged to Frederic Thiebaud
Country singer Shania Twain is engaged to Frederic Theibaud, US Weekly confirms. Theibaud, a Nestle business executive, proposed in Switzerland two months ago. The couple has possibly one of the weirdest "meet-cutes" ever: Thiebaud is the ex-husband of her former best friend, Marie-Anne Thiebaud, who is the woman Twain's ex-husband, Robert "Mutt" Lange, left her for after 14 years of marriage. The pair admitted they were in item in August of 2009 after being spotted vacationing together in Canada, New York City and Florida. Twain wrote on her official website: "We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We've become stronger and closer through it all."
Twain, 45, showed off her engagement ring while having lunch with Thiebaud, 40, at Serafina's Fabulous Grill in NYC on Dec. 16. One of the singer's friends says, "I've never seen Shania so happy. She has ended up with the love of her life."
No wedding date has been set yet. Twain is set to release an autobiography in the spring and will have her own show on Oprah's television network.

I'm ecstatic, giddy with joy. Must admit she just made my life a whole lot less stressful and don't have to worry about her burdens (too numerous too mention); but in the same token closed down my role permanently. Oh well, ALOT of free times on my hands. Congratulations Shania you will certainly have ALOT explaining to do with others over the next few years.
