Selena Gomez talks Justin Bieber's pretty eyes and how to avoid rehab

Selena Gomez leads a charmed life. She may be the only girl ever romantically linked to King Justin Bieber who hasn't subsequently received a barrage of terrifying hate-tweets from his extremely dedicated fans."I didn't!" she tells Miami Y100 in a Jingle Ball interview. "Because I've been friends with him for a while, now. We've always been friends and we've always just kind of supported and loved each other. If anything, the fans have been really sweet, and I really appreciate that."
It helps that she's not Kim Kardashian, we're guessing.
Gomez laughs off rumors that Bieb's new song, "Latin Girl," is about her. "I don't think that's about me," she says. If she had to write a song about him, she'd call it "Brown Eyes."
"They're very interesting," he says. "They're very interesting. They're like brown-hazely. They're really pretty." Swoon.
The DJ asked Gomez how she avoids the Lindsay Lohan rehab route of Young Hollywood. Gomez, whose former BFF Demi Lovato is in treatment for physical and emotional issues, says that we shouldn't be so quick to judge those on a downward spiral. "It's really hard," she says. "That's what really bothers me. I feel like sometimes people don't quite understand how difficult this industry can be with everyone watching you and every move you make. Things can be so misinterpreted at times."
Gomez credits her mom for keeping her off the DUI list. "My mom has never left my side," she says. "I mean, I'm 18 years old, but she's completely there to take my phone away or tell me I can't do something or say no."

I think Selena's outfits must be picked out at some bargain basement store in Reno Nevada. She has the worst taste in clothes I've ever seen. Nice kid, but here sense of style is something out of a high school in Oklahoma. She'll wear an orange top with green slacks. Yesterday in a picture with Bieber she was wearing this "puffy" blouse {they haven't worn those in twenty years} with some gobby bluejeans and a pair of loafers that looked like they came from the Lamey Wellehan thrift shop. Selena needs to spend a little time on Madison Ave in New York. Maybe a little Ivy League exposure would be helpful.
What is most important about Selena is not how she dresses, but how she carries herself. She is smart and has avoided getting into trouble. A lot of other stars could learn from her example. If Demi was still hanging out with her, she probably wouldn't be in trouble now. Selena, you are awesome!
I think Selena is totally right!! She IS in a tough industry!! Everything about her is recorded and watched by ALL and the smallest mistake can be manipulated into something that it isnt. We should be proud of Selena for her wonderful talents and behavior. She is beautiful, smart, and knows how to keep out of trouble. How dare you dis the way she dresses. She has very good taste in clothes. Just because you dont wear it anymore doesnt make it "old". You probably dont dress any better than a t-shirt and blue jeans anyway. At least Selena has her own style. We should appreciate the good celebs that are still around to SET THE EXAMPLE and she is definitely setting a great example!! YOU GO SELENA!!!!
