Sandra Bullock, Bret Michaels: People's most intriguing newsmakers of 2010
To say Sandra Bullock had a big year is to put it mildly. The actress nabbed an Oscar for her role in "The Blind Side," was at the center of a whirlwind infidelity storm, ended her five-year marriage to
scumbag ex-husband Jesse James and became a new mother to adopted baby Louis Bardo.
It seems only fitting that Sandy would be named People magazine's woman of the year.
In their special year-end issue, People rounds up the best and worst that 2010 had to offer. Also including is a list of the year's most intriguing newsmakers.
Bret Michaels is dubbed "The Ultimate Survivor" after his nearly fatal brain hemorrhage in April, but the rocker says that's not what he hopes to be remembered for.
"I don't want my legacy to be a hemorrhage," he tells the mag. "I want it to be: I'm a fighter, I'm passionate, I'm hardworking and I love music."
Of course it wouldn't be a 2010 roundup without "The Entrepreneur" Kim Kardashian and "The Royal Couple" Prince William and Kate Middleton.
How about Elin Nordegrin, yet another victim of an ill-fated marriage and a cheating spouse? She has been labeled "The Class Act" of 2010.
