Ryan Gosling covers GQ: Why he loves Disneyland
In a simple grey suit with his blue eyes blazing, Ryan Gosling is making us swoon on the January cover of GQ. We can't think of a better way to kick off the year.
The "Blue Valentine" star is pictured in a black-and-white photo shoot titled "How to Look Like a Movie Star," with a caption praising the actor's work in the independent film community: "Gosling has shown a unique commitment to undermining the career he was expected to have."
Gosling tells the mag of his deep love for Disneyland, saying he often visits and reminisces of his "Mickey Mouse Club" days. He was even spotted there with "Gossip Girl's" Blake Lively back in October.
"I loved the idea that Walt Disney had this dream of a place and then made it a reality," the heartthrob says. "The fact that somebody believed in their idea so much to make it a reality... I want to be that kind of person."
Gosling says believing is in his genes explaining, "I come from a family of believers."
He continues, "My mother still believes in Santa Claus. We tried to break it to her once, but she wasn't having it."
You can see the photos from the 30-year-old actor's GQ shoot on their website, and the highly anticipated "Blue Valentine" hits theaters on Dec. 27.
