Justin Timberlake reluctantly promotes 'Yogi Bear,' would join 'SNL'

There have probably been more satisfying moments in Justin Timberlake's career than the current publicity tour for voicing Boo Boo in the universally panned "Yogi Bear."

It was only a few months ago he starred in "The Social Network," which as George Lopez points out on his Dec. 16 show, has "Oscar buzz" for Timberlake.

The lack of any Golden Globe or Screen Actors Guild nod certainly doesn't bode well on that front. But it does seem like there's always a place for him on TV.

"Every time you do 'Saturday Night Live,' everything goes viral," Lopez points out to Timberlake, awkwardly referencing the internet for umpteenth time in their conversation before asking if he'd ever join the cast.

"It'd be fun to do a season I think," says Timberlake, "absolutely."

To see if he's really serious, gauge his tone in this clip:

He would be good on SNL. Brings up a good question...what SNL hosts would make a good cast member? Timberlake, Tom Hanks, John Goodman, Alec Baldwin, Scarlett Johanson, Jon Hamm, Emma Stone,Jim Carrey. Who else?

This could be the best thing to happen to SNL since Tina Fey. Also I just have to vent a little here for a second. What the hell is up with Seth Myers, HE IS NOT FUNNY, how the hell is he the head writer. I also think that if you are the head writer, and you think you are doing a good job, you should be in some of your skits. Why are you hiding behind the Weekend Update desk? If you are in the skit, it might be alot easier to know that the skit is not funny and should not make it on the air. I feel better now. I also want to know if anyone agree's or disagree's with me.

He would be good on SNL. He didn't seem to be reluctant to me in promoting Yogi Bear. He did a great job on the BooBoo voice. My kids loved the movie and thats who the movie was for, not the adult critics.
