Justin Bieber meets John Waters, falls in love with pencil-thin 'stache

In what might be one of the most gloriously bizarre photo-ops we've ever seen, Justin Bieber recently met director John Waters while filming an episode of Britain's "The Graham Norton Show."

The Baltimore Sun, Waters' hometown paper, points out that Bieber complimented Waters during the broadcast with the ultra-flattering, "Your 'stache is the jam."

J & J smiled for a photo backstage, and later on in the night, Bieber took Waters' advice by drawing on a 'stache of his own -- which the Daily Mail first drew attention to (and scolded Bieber for) the next day.

You see, silly Brits? He was just paying homage to a pop culture icon. Beiber redeemed.
