'Glee's' Jane Lynch Charmin potty photo op

As Zap2it mentioned earlier, celebrity endorsements can be hit or miss, and then there's the bizarre.

One of the most recent ones is "Glee"star Jane Lynch teaming up with Procter & Gamble to promote the Charmin brand and the opening of the Charmin Restrooms in New York City on Wednesday, Dec. 29.

These are not any ordinary restrooms. Located at 142 West 42nd Street near Times Square between 6th Avenue and Broadway till Dec. 31, the Charmin Restrooms feature baby changing stations, lounge areas, oversized toilet photo op, potty dance stage, giant smartphone-inspired video display and a social media kiosk area. Presumably actual toilets and sinks are also provided, but were not mentioned.

As part of the kick-off, Lynch emceed two rounds of a competition: bathroom trivia questions and physical challenges featuring a Charmin stacking competition, a Charmin tossing competition and a Charmin mummy competition. In the end, Iris Hill prevailed as TP monarch and was crowned "Queen of Go Nation" and won $50,000.

We thought we'd share a few of these odd photos of the event with you. The one with the bear is our favorite. As strange as all this is, however, it could still work as a "Glee" musical number!
