'Dancing With the Stars': Sarah Palin 'forced' Bristol to do show

At least that's what co-star Margaret Cho says. The comedian, who was eliminated in the third week of Palin's season, recently took to her blog to talk about Bristol's time on the show -- and though she's clearly a fan of the younger Palin, she claims to have some dirty Alaskan gossip.

"I heard from someone who really should know (really should seriously know the dirt really really) that the only reason Bristol was on the show was because Sarah Palin forced her to do it," Cho writes. "Sarah supposedly blames Bristol harshly and openly (in the circles that I heard it from) for not winning the election, and so she told Bristol she 'owed' it to her to do 'DWTS' so that 'America would fall in love with her again' and make it possible for Sarah Palin to run in 2012 with America behind her all the way."

Now, love Cho as we might, but if Sarah Palin really is planning to run in 2012... and that is really the reason Bristol really participated on the show... would we really find out like this?

Also, we have to hope that no one running for office would ever consider a stint on reality TV as anything but a liability.
