Charlie Sheen not dead, the other One and a Half Men can rest easy

Did you hear a rumor over the Christmas weekend that Charlie Sheen was dead? No? We didn't either. Apparently, though, his ex-wife and recent BFF Denise Richards read that he had passed away as a result of a snowboarding accident. One blog stated that the "Two and a Half Men" star died when he "lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed."

Don't you worry, Charlie Sheen fans! (We know you're out there. There are millions and millions of people who watch his show... we just haven't met any of you. Or we have, and you lied about it.)

Richards took to her Twitter to dispute the false claims. "The rumor about Charlie Sheen is not true. He is alive and on his way over to see his daughters. Thank u for all your concern..." she wrote on the afternoon of Dec. 26.

Last Christmas, the media was abuzz with Sheen's name because he was in jail in Colorado for a domestic disturbance with his wife, Brooke Mueller. This year, he didn't even have to do anything to make the news. He's getting better at this!
