Bristol Palin to Kathy Griffin: 'I hope people didn't have to pay money'
Oh, it's on. Remember way back on Dec. 5, when Kathy Griffin hosted the VH1 Divas Salute the Troops special and decided it was the perfect platform to rag on Bristol Palin for not losing weight during her stint on "Dancing With the Stars"? The term "White 'Precious'" was used. Well, Palin is firing back and let's just say that she lived up to her nickname "The Pistol" as the statement is short, sweet and politely cutting.
In case you aren't up to speed with the whole debacle, the audience reaction Palin is referring to are the boos the troops showered upon Griffin when she started the Palin jokes, which included "No, come on, come on. She gained like 30 pounds week, I swear to God, it was fantastic."
A source tells PopEater that the network considered cutting the moment out of the show, but VH1 decided against it because "It made the event feel live and Kathy is a big girl. It's not the first time one of her jokes have failed."
Griffin has yet to comment (or make an inappropriate joke) regarding "Fat-gate," but we think it's safe to wager one will be coming shortly.

If the joke went over well would the network STILL have considered cutting it? Why doesn't "VH1" and "MTV" show some music videos, I don't remember them doing much for the troops when Bush was Prez. Bristol should refer to Griffin as "BOTOX face".
You know. Up until yesterday I thought Bristol was just a cool chick..but after Kathy "never, ever has been funny" Griffith's stunt..I admire Bristol a lot more now.
