Box Office: 'Dawn Treader,' 'The Tourist' opening weekends not looking good

The Friday numbers are giving the third "Narnia" movie, "Voyage of the Dawn Treader," and the Angelina Jolie-Johnny Depp thriller "The Tourist" a fairly poor outlook for their respective opening weekends, according to Friday estimates.

"Dawn Treader's" $8.2 million start was good for a Friday win, but still puts the film on pace for only a mid-$20 million opening, which is just over half what it was estimated the movie would earn its first weekend, according to The Wrap..

The spy thriller "Tourist" was right behind with $6.1 million, which means it could reach its $20 million pre-release estimate, but it's going to take a strong Saturday showing to get there.
