Anne Hathaway invites P.S. 22 choir to Academy Awards
Anne Hathaway is already doing her part to flip the script on the 83rd annual Academy Awards. In a video posted on YouTube, the "Love and Other Drugs" actress makes a surprise appearance at a New York City public school, P.S. 22, holiday concert on Thursday (Dec. 16).
The best part? She invited all of them to join her on Oscar night.
"First thing I have to say is, wow, you guys are incredible. That was the greatest concert," she begins.
Though it's hard to hear Hathaway over the children shrieking in excitement, she continues to officially invite them all to Los Angeles to attend the award show, which she will be co-hosting. Executive Producer Bruce Cohen then joins Hathaway to inform the children that they will not just be sitting in the audience at the award show, they will be performing.
The pint-sized singers have gained notoriety through a series of YouTube videos. One of their classics being a cover of "Lisztomania" by Phoenix. You can watch them in the clip below:
