Adam Sandler died: The Internet tries to kill off another celeb
Oh, celebrity death hoaxes are going to be a trend in 2011, aren't they? First, there were rumors of Aretha Franklin's death, then Charlie Sheen's. Now, the Internet has decided it's Adam Sandler's turn and we're happy to report that that it is indeed a rumor. What gives, Internet? Happy news, like Reese Witherspoon's engagement, boring you? A fake report claimed that while Sandler was vacationing at a ski resort in Switzerland on Dec. 28, the actor "lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed." They claimed he was airlifted to a local hospital, but died instantly from the crash's impact.
A rep for Sandler issued a statement to Gossip Cop saying, "It's completely not true and such irresponsible journalism." We totally agree with Sandler's rep here. We're not really sure why people keep starting rumors regarding celebrity death, but it really needs to stop.

Trolling on the net needs to stop. But it never will. There will always be 12 year olds stirring up garbage and once they mature another fresh generation of 12 year olds will take their place.

That is sickening that some one would start such rumors..They need to be band from journalism. What you have nothing better to do than to make up stories , go write a fiction book or something.If you can't get your story straight don't write anything.

probably adam sandler did die that way just not the guy from the movies i know 3 people share names with celebs and adam and sandler is a common name so i am sure man eople in the world share the name and ne did die and one person just saw it in a obit and startd from there
I don't understand people who get upset about stories disputing rumors. If there's a rumor widely circulating like this one (which I've been seeing everywhere all afternoon), it's worth addressing. Obviously you cared enough to click on yet another of the "tons of reports" to complain about it. Great thing about the Internet is that these things can be shut down in a matter of hours instead of reaching urban legend status like the old ones about Rod Stewart and Richard Gere did.
Totally agree with Dave. This site is seriously talking crap about those spreading the rumor but it sure doesn't waste any time putting "Adam Sandler died" in the headline. Anyone with basic SEO knowledge knows what you're doing. This site is a joke and the perfect example of idiots aiming for a good Alexa score passing themselves off as news writers.
