Whoopi Goldberg promotes book on 'O'Reilly Factor,' water conspiculously under the bridge
"Remember when you said those racist things on my show and I walked off? Oh, those were good times."This is more or less what you can expect from Whoopi Goldberg's Nov. 23 appearance on Bill O'Reilly's "The O'Reilly Factor." It's the first time the two have spoken publicly since O'Reilly's Oct. 14 visit to "The View," when talk of the World Trade Center adjacent mosque prompted Goldberg and co-host Joy Behar to walk off.
But the two are all smiles now. O'Reilly straight up giggles in a preview of the interview, asking Whoopi what she said about him afterward backstage. "Were you cursing me out and stuff?"
O'Reilly hasn't sounded this playful since Falafal-gate.
Whoopi doesn't seem to have many hard feelings either. "If I cross a line, which I crossed," says Goldberg, "because I heard myself say something I had no business saying... I knew I had to go."
That line, apparently, was uttering the un-acronym-ed word for "BS." Because the women of "The View" always walk off stage after slipping a debatable profanity.

The washed-up *****'s book isn't selling.
I'm glad that the American people aren't all like Bill O'Reilly. While I'm not going to target Fox News like many people do, though the channel airs his show so the channel must share the blame for this diabolical programme. I would be ecstatic if they changed the schedule, but this is unlikely to happen with all this media attention that surrounds him. Fox News should air fair and balanced debates in that time slot after all it is the channel's slogan. Why must Bill O'Reilly have the last word? Why is he able to tell his guests to shut up? Aren't guests/viewers allowed to have their own opinion? I'm so sick of him thinking that we should have the same views. It's about time people stopped watching this drivel and explore other sources for news during this time slot. Finally with regards to this particular subject Whoopi Goldberg should know better and shouldn't have gone on his show and create this media publicity its completely outrageous. The World always finds some religious group/ethnic group to hate who next? Make's me sick. Don't generalise and stir up hatred target the problem and eradicate the people who want to kill innocent people for no reason.

Well said keV. Instead of saying Arabs killed us on 9/11it IS better to say MUSLIM Arabs killed us on 9/11. You are genius but FYI Bill O' Reilly is not a news program it is an editorialized content show.
Hey Kev I hate to break it to you but its no different than MSNBC airing Keith Olberman at the same time as FOX airs Bill. There is no longer such a thing as fair news most all are biased one way or another.
