'Vogue' cover girl Emma Watson talks college dating, delicious American bagels
Brown University sophomore, "Harry Potter" star and enviable bank account have-er Emma Watson is beginning to promote the first of her franchise's two-part conclusion, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."
For Watson, this means opening up about her new life in America and getting to show off her shorn locks in a Mario Testino photo shoot for British Vogue. Watson graces the cover of the December issue.
Though copy of her her interview isn't yet available, if it's anything like the one she recently gave Parade, it will shed a lot of light on her post-"Potter" life.
Watson tells Parade that in addition to putting school first these days, she's loving the social perks that come with life off of film shoots -- which includes boys who've never seen "Harry Potter" and a variety of different bagels.

at Brown has never seen a 'Harry Potter' movie or read the books," Watson tells Parade. "And one guy I dated
didn't know anything about the films, much less that I was one of the stars, which I found

Hilarious and sort of weird. But Watson has her quirks too. "My friends think I'm crazy because I get so much joy out of really simple pleasures like staying up late talking or deciding to go for a walk" she continues. "And bagels -- they're the best thing ever! Americans just love variety; there's so much choice, it's overwhelming."
Watson has yet to go overboard on the bagels, which you can clearly see in the larger version of her December Vogue cover:

Well, I'm pretty sure there are tribal people deep in the Amazon rain forest who don't get Netflix, as well as most of the Chinese (who probably aren't allowed to read anything not written by Chairman Mao). Probably half the planet, then, has never heard of Harry Potter.
And I totally agree...Emma Watson went from being quite a fetching young girl to a young woman with a classic beauty to her that will do her well in the coming years.
