'The View': Nigel Lythgoe jabs at Sarah Palin, brings Milwaukee audition clip

GoogleOn Thursday's (Nov. 18) episode of "The View," "American Idol" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe stopped by to talk about all things "Idol" and show a clip of an audition in Milwaukee.
The first topic discussed is Sarah Palin's new book, "America by Heart," in which she slams "American Idol" contestants, saying they are "talent-deprived and that no one they have encountered in their lives, from their parents to their teachers to the President, wanted them to feel bad by hearing the truth, so they grew up convinced they could become big pop stars like Michael Jackson."
Nigel's response: "I don't know why she's referenced the president. I think he's probably got a bit more on his hands to worry about than 'American Idol' contestants. And I guess she wrote that before her own daughter showed her somewhat lack of talent as a dancer on 'Dancing With the Stars.'"
Nigel goes on to say that he left "Idol" because he was trying to take "So You Think You Can Dance" to the international level. Now that he can juggle both of his shows, he can come back to "Idol." He also says, "With Simon Cowell leaving, it needed a revamp. You can't replace Simon Cowell."
He doesn't get into the recently-announced changes to "Idol" Season 10, but he does show a clip of an audition in Milwaukee. Are you getting excited, "Idol" fans?

Good point, Nigel.If what Bristol is doing is not related to the "culture of self-esteem," whatever that means, what is it? Evidently the President forgot to tell her that she has no talent for dancing, and God (her loving mother) thinks that foul-mouthed Bristol is a "sweet" girl. Wonder how her son feels about seeing his mother only once a month for a day. Some family values in this crew all right...money first, God talk second, then family.
....and then Whoopie & Joy got up and walked out, and kept on walking, and never came back, and won't be back, and they're both ugly.
Who cares about Nigel Lythgoe. He has no standing, other than to provide continuing fodder for the View ladies to get their knickers in a twist over.

Nigel is right about that fake Alaskan deer, mama beer, fake woman. She should check on her talent less daughter with two left feet.
This story is BS!! She makes the exact OPPOSITE point in the book!! They media has cherry picked quotes to give the impression she is bashing AI when its actually the opposite! She praises them for making people deal with REALITY. She is using it as an analogy to the democrats culture of dependence rather than hard work. Read the whole passage and dont get force fed your information form mainstream media. This story alone illustrates S.P. point! This story is on every news or entertainment site on the net--and its 100% incorrect. Will it ever be corrected? Of course not... because this is an effort to destroy her further...

Once again you are missing his point... Sarah needs to practice what she preaches, because the REALITY is, is that her daughter can't DANCE a lick... and just made a mockery of Dancing with the Stars as well as exposing herself to be just as polarizing as her opportunistic mother...
