'The Hasselhoffs' 2011 calendar: Best TV swag ever
So, we weren't too excited about A&E's upcoming series "The Hasselhoffs." Another celeb-reality series, we thought, starring a guy about whom we know pretty much there is everything to know. And then we received the show's promo package in the mail Friday (Nov. 19). We're still not sure about the series, but if it's half as good as the marketing material, we're in.
A&E sent us a 13-month "Hasselhoffs" calendar that's perhaps the funniest wall calendar in history. The January picture (above) glows in the dark, two months have scratch-n-sniff panels, and November -- the month in which the Berlin Wall fell -- has a picture of David Hasselhoff singing to the crowds at the wall and is captioned "You're Welcome Germany!"
(July 17, the Hoff's birthday, is hereafter to be referred to as the "National Day of Awesome.")
A few more of the images are below. Here's May (you can actually swing the mini-Hoff on a piece of string):
August (we were too afraid to "find out what 'awesome' smells like"):
And November, with the aforementioned Berlin Wall picture:
"The Hasselhoffs," which follows David and daughters Hayley and Taylor-Ann, premieres Dec. 5 on A&E.

This crappy site cannot even put good high quality photos, fail, go to a better site for tv news, like ew.com
He has such a great sense of humor about himself and his place in pop culture. I still have no desire to smell him though.
