Susan Boyle cuts 'View' performance short following vocal malfunction

The show must go on. Unless, like Susan Boyle, you decide the show doesn't really need to.

The beloved Scottish singer, during an appearance on the Nov. 30 episode of "The View" made it less than a minute into her rendition of "Oh Holy Night," when that oh-so-tricky "fall on your knees" bit sent her into a tailspin of stunted warbles.

Boyle recovered from this first fumble, making one of her signiature, self-effacing smiles, but quickly realized that the frog in her throat was not alone. She nixed the rest of the song.

Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd rushed the stage with a flurry of compliments that seemed to send Boyle to an even more awkward place. Let's hope she can pull it together in time for her next performance, the tree-lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Plaza.

LOL... Poor thing, wonder wat his her face beforehand.

Sad how she isnt as talented as Carrie Underwood and doesnt have the Britney and Madonna's good marketable looks.

Susan had a frog in her throat. Just needed to clear it and start over, but no time left on show. She did sing song to live audience to a standing ovation, and you can see that performance on the west coast edition of today's View.
She does an outstanding rendition of this song, so give yourself a treat and watch the west coast edition.

Uh...no.

Mean remarks about Susan Boyle are uncalled for. She is a very talented singer, who is experiencing difficulty with her public persona. Brillant marketing by Simon & Co. have her albums selling well during the holidays, so she probably is set for life. Maybe her management should not push her to perform live.

No big deal. She is still better than most singers out there.
