Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund's 'Country Strong' duet: We succumb to 'Give Into Me'
A clip of Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund singing "Give Into Me" from their upcoming film "Country Strong" was posted by Moviefone and to keep it brief: We're obsessed. It looks like Gwyneth Paltrow will have some serious competition when the movie hits theaters in limited release Dec. 22.You can literally see the chemistry between Meester and Hedlund in the clip, in which Hedlund's Beau Hutton convinces Meester's Chiles Stanton (coolest name ever? Discuss.) to come on stage with him to sing a duet. What follows is "Give Into Me," which we will no doubt be counting down the days until it is release on iTunes.
While its public knowledge that "Gossip Girl's" Meester can carry a tune (thanks to her infectious single "Somebody to Love" and her hit duet with Cobra Starship "Good Girls Go Bad"), we had no idea that Hedlund would be so charismatic and believable on stage. Combine this and the highly-anticipated "Tron: Legacy," we're thinking Hedlund is Hollywood's next big thing.

I am so impressed with these two, I always knew they were both very talented actors, and that Leighton was a fantastic singer, but Garrett? Never had a clue, and these two together? Wow. Watch out world. Is Garrett single? 'Cause I so wouldn't mind these two hooking up together in real life!!!
