Sigh. So it turns out that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian may not be engaged after all. How unengaged are they? 150% unengaged.Rimes was so incensed by the E! story that broke Thursday (Nov. 4) night that Twitter's 140 characters wasn't enough to convey her feelings. Instead, she had to turn to TwitLonger so that she could go on at length about the lies being spread about her. Even if, for once, they were nice ones:
Ok, I've about had it with the lack of "reporting" with E News. The fact that our "engagement" has spread so furiously over the past 24 hours off of an E News article that is 150% untrue just shows you the lack of credible "sources" they seem to find and build a story around. When CNN is calling my publicist off of a lie E News has reported, the media world seriously has a problem with their lack of responsibility to the public to actually report the truth. Even though this is positive "news" its not true. Imagine all the negative "true stories" they've reported over the last year that aren't true either. Gina Serpe and especially, Whitney English reporting for E News should be investigated for their lack of "investigative reporting."Eddie and I are beyond happy and in love and look forward to one day sharing such private news with you all and hopefully will be able to enjoy it privately and share it with our family and friend's before the world knows (contrary to reports on our intentions). So, nothing has been "exclusively" broken E News except maybe some of your credibility, sorry...I'M PREGNANT TOO!!! LOL Thanks to all of our wonderful fans for the premature congrats, but for now, let's all be happy we're happy and still and will remain together! Eddie and I felt we couldn't let this rumor go on any longer.
Of course, Cibrian's ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, had already given an interview saying, "I am happy they are engaged. Consistency is good for the kids," referring to her and Cibrian's two sons. Sure, that's not actually an admittance that she was one of the first people they called with their joyous news, but it also doesn't sound like it took her by surprise either.
And, for their part, E! is sticking by its story, saying that Rimes is only denying it because they were hoping to cut a deal with a publication that would pay them to be the ones to announce the engagement.
For our part, we give up. We hereby promise that if Rimes and Cibrian do get "officially" engaged within the next 6 months we will consider it to have already been reported and won't bother any of you with another post. Done and done.

Hey Brill why make smart a** comments just because she is tired of the media printing stories that are lies. Perhaps this was the breaking point after all the adultery and Shape Magazine crap.
I really don't understand why they are being so crapped on for having an affair. It happens everyday. As a matter of fact it is happening right now. So go find out who it is and report about it. Give them a rest. It has been a year and they deserve it.
Enough about Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes. Bor-r-ring...You could fill books, if you were to list all celebs who have had adulterous affairs. Surely you have better factual news to report.(No 'engagement' mistruths either)...Maybe not...Perhaps you wouldn't know the truth if it bit you in the butt !! How sad.
I am a huge fan of LeAnn Rimes. I wish the public were as kind and mature to her as Eddie's ex-wife is currently being regarding the matter. People in glass houses should not throw stones, none of us are perfect. We all make mistakes and the girl has already taken a beating from the press.
Here's an idea folks...how about enough of these two once and for all! Stop giving these idiots publicity! Her career is tanking and his...well, does he even have a career to speak of? Just saying.
One question: who cares ?! lol
