Kelly Preston, John Travolta's happy Thanksgiving delivery: An 8-pound baby boy

Hollywood couple John Travolta and Kelly Preston are giving thanks early.

The actors have welcomed their new son Benjamin in to the family on Tuesday, Nov. 24, in Florida, reports E!Online.

"John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family," says Travolta's rep. "Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully."

Not that we're comparing babies to turkeys, but baby Ben weighs a respectable 8 pounds, 3 ounces, enough for any family of three. Previously, it had been rumored that Preston was pregnant with twins. Nope, she certainly did not need seconds this time around.

All kidding aside, it's a welcome blessing after the family lost their 16-year-old son Jett tragically after a seizure in 2009.
