Jackie Evancho of 'America's Got Talent' makes historic debut on Billboard charts

Jackie Evancho didn't win "America's Got Talent" this year, but that fact isn't shaping up to be a hindrance to her career. Not even a little bit.The 10-year-old singer made Billboard chart history this week by selling 239,000 copies of her Christmas-themed EP "O Holy Night." She debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart, making her the youngest solo artist ever to have a top 10 album.
The four-song EP, which also tops the classical charts, includes a DVD of some of her "AGT" performances.
Evancho's debut beat the likes of Rihanna (No. 3), Kid Rock (No. 5) and Keith Urban (No. 7), all of whom also had albums debuting on the charts this week. The only artist above her was another "Got Talent" sensation -- "Britain's Got Talent" star Susan Boyle, whose holiday album "The Gift" is No. 1 for the second consecutive week.

This is nice, but hopefully she won't get over-exposed and near-exploited the way Charlotte Church and (to a much lesser extent) Bianca Ryan did. Young kids don't have the stamina of adults, but that doesn't stop Hollywood and/or the music industry from bleeding them dry.
Oh, and having heard snippets of the EP, she does have an amazing voice, so kudos for that.
I would wonder why isn,t Buddha The Pest " concerned" about Justin Beiber being over-exposed and exploited!

God gave us this beautiful & very talented 10 year old angel. She's is from heaven.
Jackie is the best singer i have ever seen in my life. Her voice sounds really unique and rare for her age. But i think she should of won America's got Talent. And blow the other guy out of the water. I Hope to see her get big in the music business and im impressed for her performances she did for Americas and hope she becomes a millionaire later in life.

I bought the CD, it brings a tear to your eye. I will purchase every CD Jackie ever puts out. A previous post is right, she is a gift from God. Maybe she is an Angel.
