Hey, all, so you know the McRib is back, right?

So we noticed on our Facebook feeds yesterday (Tuesday, Nov. 2) that keeping pace with all our friends proudly telling us that they did their civic duty and voted -- whether they actually did or not -- there was a whole lot of bragging going on about scoring the first McRibs of the season.

That's right, the McRib is back. That Playdoh funny factory molded piece of "meat" (bones and all) slathered with sauce and slapped between two buns that bears no resemblance to the idealized picture above. It, and others like it, can be all yours for a limited time only (Dec. 5, to be exact).

And, for the very first time since 1994 it's available everywhere. All restaurants, nationwide. No need for road detective work or road trips to get your "pork" fix on.

If just eating one isn't enough nostalgia for you, McDonald's has also put back into circulation its "Saucy Love Is Back" commercial from 2008.
