Demi Lovato's final straw? Punching 'Dance Crew' contestant Alex 'Shorty' Welch
The unfortunate circumstances around Demi Lovato's decision to leave her current tour with Jonas Brothers and seek treatment for a number of "emotional and physical issues" continue to involve more parties.
TMZ reports that the "Camp Rock 2" and "Sonny With a Chance" star made the call to address her unstable situation after an altercation with a backup dancer touring with the Jonas Brothers.
Alex 'Shorty' Welch, a member of the Season 3 "America's Best Dance Crew" troupe Beat Freaks, reportedly received "a pretty nasty shiner" from a fight with Lovato and is currently in talks with lawyers about taking the matter to court.
The story also claims that sources close to Lovato say that it was this incident that made her call her behavior into question and that she feels "awful" about the fight.
Welch is not the first name to be thrown into the Lovato mess this week. It was originally thought that the "fight" involved her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas' current girlfriend, "Twilight" actress Ashley Greene. Greene's representatives promptly issued a denial that there was ever any drama between her and Lovato, and if this "Shorty" business is to be believed, it sounds like they were right.

@James you're right, but people like her can't just go punching others and then run to rehab to avoid the consequences. Definitely no need for a lawsuit. That girl should have grown a pair and punched her back.
Demi needs to be hit in her ugly face. The bullies should have done it. Are you even sure this girl was bullied? I think she was the bully.
@Robertfromouterspace. Well how do you know she is? We don't know what happened. I mean there are already numurous reports that she already apologized to this girl and she felt bad for what she did. She'll probably try to make amends for her actions sometime down the road. I think she knows that you can't go punching others. At the sametime though, this is a perfect example of what bullying can do. Turn other people, normal people into bullies.
