Dakota Fanning is one lucky girl. Not only has she starred in some of the biggest movies ("War of the Worlds," the "Twilight" series) but she gets to have normal high school experiences too!Well -- normal if you're super-popular.
The 17-year-old actress was voted Homecoming Queen of Campbell Hall Episcopal High School for the second year in a row. We think it really says a lot about her if she's a famous actress but also well-liked enough to win that title. The way teenagers can be, you might think jealousy would keep them from awarding her the crown.
She's always seemed like she had a good head on her shoulders to us. The entertainment industry needs more Dakotas and less Lindsays.

What is it with people who have to post nasty comments to make themselves feel good? Dakota has been a good kid and I hope that she grows up to be an accomplished woman --whether it's in the movies or in her personal life. She is down to earth, thanks to her parents. You haven't heard about her doing drugs or having a slew of boyfriends. She's focusing on her schoolwork and that's important right now. Good luck to her.
