Bruce Springsteen, 'Neil Young' cover 'Whip My Hair' on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'

bruce-fallon-whip-my-hair.jpgSo, we were already Bruce Springsteen fans before his appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday. We're bigger fans now.

Why? Because Bruce joined "Neil Young" (Fallon, who does a spot-on impression) in a very Neil Young-esque cover of Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair." Springsteen even donned a shaggy, "Born to Run"-era beard for the performance.

Springsteen was Fallon's sole guest Tuesday night (Nov. 16), promoting the reissue of his 1978 album "Darkness on the Edge of Town." He talked about the early days of his career and the nature of fame now, among other topics. He and E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt also performed two songs with The Roots.

But the out-of-nowhere highlight was unquestionably "Whip My Hair." Here's the video:
