'The Social Network' tops Friday box office
"The Social Network" has friended many theatergoers.The Sony drama about Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) earned approximately $9 million at the domestic box office on its first day out, leading domestic ticket sales, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Top 5 films:
- "The Social Network" - $9 million
- "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" - $3.3 million
- "The Town" - $3.1 million
- "Legends of the Guardian: Owls of Ga'Hoole" - $2.6 million
- "Easy A" - $2 million

Its only counting ONE of the films that was released yesterday, there are like 2 others that arenn't being counted. kinda biased don't you think?
@Izzy -- um, what the hell are you talking about? Did you even read this article? It lists only the top 5 movies so far this weekend. Of course the other ones are included in the overall tracking.
I bet more people see Case 39 tonight than yesterday. That was really good and really scary unlike that goofball "Last Exorcism" movie. I want to see "Devil" as well but something tells me that is just not good.
