Taylor Swift discusses John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal on Ellen DeGeneres

Taylor Swift may be trying to play coy about the songs on her latest album, "Speak Now" - and specifically, who they're about - but she's not particularly good at it. On the Oct. 29 episode, Ellen DeGeneres asks her if "Dear John" is about John Mayer, or if it's just a "Dear John" letter."It could be," Swift says. "That song kind of is what it is."
When she doesn't flat out deny that it's about Mayer, Ellen draws the logical conclusion. "Okay, great, we know the answer now. It's about him (John Mayer.) Well, you didn't dispute it so obviously..." she teases.
"When I was 12 years-old I started writing songs about my life and... people are now kind of more interested in the subject material of those songs a little more than when I was 12," Swift says. "I'm still going to continue to write about my life. I guess people are going to continue to speculate about it and I'm going to continue to never tell them who the song is about."
We're guessing this is a brand new policy, since she didn't have much trouble throwing Joe Jonas and Kanye West out there to the wolves.
As for rumored new love Jake Gyllenhaal, Swift will only say, "I'm always optimistic about love."
Ellen has a little more to add, though. "I'm just saying he's adorable and I like him very much, and so if that is the case that he's your boyfriend, I think that's fantastic. Wouldn't he be nervous if anything goes wrong? There's another song."
We'd be nervous, Jake. Very, very nervous.

Girls mature far earlier than guys, and I wouldn't be suprised if Jake's waaaaay more immature than she is. Taylor is extremely intelligent, and she's sampling life. Hey, she's very rich, famous, a nearly six-foot blonde and her music touches millions, complain or not. Who can blame her? She's a wonderful product of American culture, not a hoe, not a phony ga-ga, with some really articulate songs. I suggest you listen to track 6 on her new album, "Why you gotta be so mean?" which will be an uplifting anthem for abused youngsters for generations. Nothing about her boyfriends, it's for the kids, and it rocks.
I know I have no talent when it comes to entertaining, music or other wise, but then again you won't find me on stage acting like I do, example Taylor Swift. Jake, brother I know you can do much better.
@Bruce Well then maybe she should have listerned to that very same record before she recorded 'Better than revenge' a case of Pot Kettle Black I'd say. And with the number of guys she's clocking up in her short 21 years I'd also say Hoe is just about right.
