Oprah sends 'Daily Show' audience to Jon Stewart's D.C. rally

Stephen Colbert tried to steal Jon Stewart's mojo last night. But Stewart had a secret weapon -- Oprah.
Colbert crashed the taping of "The Daily Show" Thursday (Oct. 14), first offering a sob story about he didn't get a permit for his "March to Keep Fear Alive" on Oct. 30 in Washington. After a sympathetic Stewart added Colbert's name to the, ahem, official permit, Colbert snatched it away and proclaimed that Stewart's "Rally to Restore Sanity" will now be the "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear."
But then, Stewart played his ace in the hole. As you can see in the clip above, Oprah Winfrey appeared on the "Daily Show" video wall and announced herself as a member of Team Sanity by telling the audience to look under their seats -- where tickets to Washington, D.C., and the rally were waiting (and, we hope, hotel reservations too. Rooms in D.C. are apparently booked solid).
It's not a car or a trip to Australia, but it's not bad.
Stewart's mojo restored, Oprah went back about her business. Not to be outdone, though, Colbert also passed out rally tickets to the "Colbert Report" audience on his show.

I've been to Australia. It's not worth the 20 hour plane trip.
I'd much rather get bus tickets (it's only a 4 hour ride, Alex) to a rally featuring Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and a few hundred thousand like-minded people.
@ Mark: Enjoy the ride, you can watch Colbert make an a$$ out of himself again, he did that last time he went to D.C.
Let us all remember that both "rallies" are spoofs of Glenn Beck's religious revival, so Oprah was probably in on the joke. And hey, at least on a bus, there aren't poisonous snakes, scorpions, spiders and other creepy crawlies that want to kill you, as there is in Australia. I'd rather have the bus, thanks.
@Alex; are you an idiot? That was a rhetorical question, since you obviously ARE an idiot. Oprah did not give Jon Stewart's audience bus tickets, she gave them plane tickets, as well as hotel accommodations.
Maybe if you stop living in your mother's basement you can get some fresh air, and an education. Then maybe you will be able to read and write properly.
Oprah was the one that gave us Obama, now she is trying to save Congress. I sure hope it doesn't work, I can't afford any more socialism. Please give me gridlock!
