Lisa Rinna removes silicone from lip, saves fortune on lipgloss
Turns out we weren't the only ones who couldn't get past Lisa Rinna's huge over-inflated hemorrhoid-esque upper lip. Even Lisa herself was over the trout pout.
Lisa (seen above in 1994 and June 2010) denied for years that she'd done anything to her lips. Two years ago, she finally admitted to getting silicone injections into her upper lip back in 1986.
"My lips started to define who I am," Rinna, 47, explained to People. "That bothered me."
So the star of TVLand's new reality show "Harry Loves Lisa" (with hubby Harry Hamlin) had a deflation procedure in August, after finding out -- after all these years -- that silicone could be surgically removed. Who knew?
"It doesn't matter what other people think," she says. "I did it for myself." And although the lip is still swollen (it takes six months to heal), she's already thrilled. "My lip has no lumps! It's smooth."
If she's happy, we're happy. And lord knows she'll probably save buckets of money on lipstick. She must have gone through a tube a month with her old swollen smackers.

Thank GOD!! I totally understand and get it. I teased my hair higher and higher and used up to two cans a spray a week. I went cold turkey when one year down the shore my hair was so gummy I stopped for the trip. By the time the trip was over, so was the hair spray and teasing. When I looked back at pics, I looked down right silly. Its not easy and Im so glad she stopped. I hope it doesnt cause any problems down the road.

I always knew she had done silicone.Her lips were much to big. I'm sure she will look much better. That is six months from now.
Her lips were so huge and fake looking...they were ugly. Glad she got them corrected. She is really pretty and I really believe she will look even prettier with normal lips
Funny I can still remember her defending those lips i.e., look back at pix when I was 6, they're all mine, "natural", LOL. Many in Hollywood and elsewhere can start deflating their heads, cause they're about to explode they're so full of themselves.
Those old lips really suck.
