Kevin Smith reunites 'The Breakfast Club' cast 25 years later

On Sept. 20, the original cast of the John Hughes cult classic "The Breakfast Club" met for the first time in 25 years to celebrate Hughes at an event sponsored by the NY Film Society at Lincoln Center. After a screening of the movie, the cast shared memories of filming and subsequent success of the film during a panel moderated by director/comedian Kevin Smith.

Ally Sheedy calls the movie "timeless" and Anthony Michael Hall says, " It's a reminder of where we started." Hall also cracks that Sheedy used her own dandruff in the movie. We're disappointed not to see Emilio Estevez back as well.

Watch the video above for a short clip of the panel, then visit the EPIX website to watch a longer video. And remember -- "We're all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it, that's all."

Emilio Estevez has never done any reunion bits with 'The Breakfast Club'. Does he have something against it?

I've always loved Emilio Estevez but I hate when people refuse to do reunion things related to movies or shows that made them famous...so I hope that is not the case here.

What could he have against in anyway...it is the great teen movie of all time for sure.

HockeyGuy obviously doesn't like returning to his high school memories filled with insecurities and blowhard jocks that beat him up.

Wow 25 years later... this movie was marketed as a cult movie.. the producers and hollywood forced it on us and played it over and over and over and over and over and over and over.....

Honestly its not a good movie... its not TheGoodTheBadTheUgly... its not StarWars.. its not anywhere close to being a movie you really want to watch....

It is just the cheapest movie that they could rerun on cable to fill time... and boy did they abuse it.

and what happened to their careers? they never got ones.. well other then the few movies Emilio did...

The Brat Pack HA ... its garbage

HockeyGuy- you obviosuly aren't in tune to 80's movies like the Breakfast Club, St Elmo's Fire, Risky Business, Ferris Buhlers Day Off. Perhaps today these movies seem low rent to you, but in the day were cutting edge. Does spending more money on a film make it better? Really?? Hello Avatar. Nuf said.

they said in an interview that emilio was doin a movie in canada and couldnt be there

HockeyGuy, they re-run The Breakfast Club so often because people watch it every time, because it speaks to them. If it didn't people wouldn't watch and the networks would find something else to fill those spots that would sell more ads.

I'm not saying that it is the best movie of all time but it is one of my all time favorites and I think a lot of people feel that way about it. And just because the stars of the movie didn't go on to have blockbuster careers doesn't mean that it isn't any good. After all, to use one of your own illustrations, Mark Hamil didn't really do anything after the Star Wars movies.

Quite interesting publish. the information that you shown is amazing and most notably i liked just how you shared things here. Truly, the concept is real time applicable and as per the current demand of the internet user society.
