Jodie Foster confirms Mel Gibson 'Hangover 2' cameo: Cool or creepy?
Despite the fact that Mel Gibson's buzzed about film, "Beaver" -- directed by Jodie Foster -- is not being released anytime soon, the beleaguered actor will make a cameo in the upcoming "The Hangover 2."
Gibson's role as a tattoo artist (think Tom Cruise in "Tropic Thunder") was confirmed by Foster, who tells "Extra," "He is incredibly loved by everyone that's ever come into contact with him or works with him. He is truly the most loved man in the film business, so, hopefully that stands for something."
The film, a sequel to the 2009 hit comedy, will star Bradley Cooper and
the original crew. It's starting production soon and a release date is
scheduled for May 2011.Gibson may be hoping that some levity may lighten up his blackened rep after allegations by Oksana Grigorieve that he hit her, their baby, broke her teeth, etc, etc.
And then there are all those taped ranting phone calls with vile racist and misogynistic insults.

Why not? Can't settle his dispute with Oksana and move on until the prosecuter finishes the investigation of Oksana's extortion attempt so he might as well do something. He hasn't had a drink in 4 years and has several other projects ongoing including a movie that's near release and it's time for him to get on with his life.
I know it's fun to hate Mel but don't until you've read the real story at TMZ. Oksana's stories are mostly BS and she got pregnant just to get money from Mel and she is determined. She set him up and she is everything that Mel called her on those tapes which, by the way, were completely fake and altered and illegal.
It's not uncommon for domestic abusers to present one charming face in public and be evil and nasty at home. Domestic abuse has nothing to do with alcohol abuse it has everything to do with their attitude to women which Mel clearly articulates in his rant tapes. That Jodie Foster supports a domestic abuser has tarnished her reputation. I will never see another movie that Jodie Foster has any involvement with. Oksana is the victim in this and hopefully justice will prevail.

oksana is a victim? lol, if that's the case then why won't she allow the police to fully access her personal info then? she seems more afraid of what they'll find in her personal belongings than she is of her abuser.
who in the heck does not fly off the wall when they are mad, he was just recorded. I am pleased that Jodie Foster is backing mel up, because she looks outside the box. With Aussie's like the late BONN Scott and Mel Gibson it's just a real horror show!!!
i think Jodie Foster is a class act. i would go see the movie "Beaver," because it looks funny and intriguing. i think she would've made a smart entertaining film. Hangover 2 would've probably gotten even higher box if they left Mel in it.
