Greyson Chance debuts new single 'Waiting Outside the Lines' on Ellen Degeneres
13-year-old YouTube sensation Greyson Chance, the first artist signed to Ellen DeGeneres eleveneleven record label, gave his new single its first performance on his boss's TV series on Oct. 26.
Chance sang "Waiting Outside the Lines" from behind a piano on the Ellen stage, before jumping to his feet and moving out towards the audience to finish the song.
In his interview with Ellen, Chance also took the time to address bullying, which he's incorporated into one of the songs from his debut album.
"The song is called 'Purple sky,' and it's a song about how a normal sky is a blue sky," Chance tells Ellen. "It's saying that a purple sky is different, but it's still beautiful in its own way, and it's beautiful in an incredible way."Chance sang "Waiting Outside the Lines" from behind a piano on the Ellen stage, before jumping to his feet and moving out towards the audience to finish the song.
