David Arquette apologizes for Howard Stern show call about Courteney Cox on Twitter
On Tuesday (Oct. 12), David Arquette called in to Howard Stern's radio show and had a bad case of mouth diarrhea in which he spilled that he and recently-split-from wife Courteney Cox hadn't had sex in months. At least with each other. He went on to say that he'd hooked up with his alleged mistress Jasmine Waltz. Howard Stern must have thought he'd struck broadcasting gold.
Arquette took to his Twitter page Wednesday (Oct. 13) to apologize for his ramblings:
- Thank you all for your Love and support at this time. I'm trying figuring out how to be the best person I can be.
- but it's been a process of trial and error. I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I'm experiencing
- but while doing that I shared too much...it's alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information
- I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled..Life is a process of spiritual evolution
- I'm sure Courteney and myself will emerge from this painful time better people for what we've learned.
What do you think? Bygones? And just because we haven't said it in awhile -- God bless Twitter.

Is there anyone who for one second thought that, that was written by anyone but an army of publicists.
i don't think so.
I feel sorry for him. He poured his heart out on the wrong show and is getting treated like a villain.
The guy loves the girl and is heart broken. Which one of us has never said anything like that when your heart is broken?
My heart is with you bud.
What do you mean on the wrong show? That was the best place for him to do it. He and Howard are friends thats why he called. People took whatever clips they wanted from the interview, and made up a bunch of crap.
I'm confused what is he sorry for? Having an affair which probablly killed his marriage? Deliberately calling Howard Stone and basically implied that his wife is frigid so he went out and picked upa randon waitress and had sex? Let's see - oh I know he's sorry he embarrassed his wife? Acted like a jerk? Hurt his daughter? Oh so many things to be sorry about.
Eh, Andrew. It was NOT the WRONG show to do it, would you rather have it on Oprah? The Howard Stern show is uncenssored radio so he was free to vent as well as he liked. It was good, honest radio, nontheless.
I hope you work it out and solve the problems. I wish you both all the best.
He didn't have an affair. They've been seperated for months and Courtney said it was OK for David to see other people. The news was already out and he called in to defend himself. Listen to the interview CRA because I can tell you haven't.
People see Howard Stern and they get the wrong idea. It was a great interview and the guy just tried to do the right thing. He never cheated on his wife. If some of you idiots would actually listen to the WHOLE interview you would know that. EW and all those other shows put David down because he went on Stern to tell his story and not theirs. Howard and David are good friends.
