Celebs 'Give a Damn' about hate crimes and bullying

In addition to the latest "It Gets Better" messages being taped by celebrities and non-celebrities alike, there is also the "We Give a Damn" movement, which fights against problems like bullying, but also suicide, discrimination and abuse.

Elton John, Cyndi Lauper, Idina Menzel, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Lily Tomlin and countless others have gotten involved. All of the videos taped can be viewed at the "We Give a Damn" YouTube channel or at the "We Give a Damn" website.

Lauper stresses the message to teach your kids that being different is OK and being hateful is not and urges parents to give a damn about what their kids are doing and feeling. We thank all the celebrities who have used their fame as a platform to spread the messages of hope and equality.
