Bruce Willis wants to return to the '80s
We can see how being interviewed by Zach Galifianakis might try a man's patience. Particularly if that man is Bruce Willis.
Mostly, though, what the latest installment of "Between Two Ferns" -- Galifianakis' Funny or Die interview show -- does is remind us that Bruce Willis can be a very funny guy. Watching him stew while Galifianakis asks him a series of inane questions, then launch into a reverie about how great things were in the '80s makes for a very amusing way to spend four minutes. (And also a slightly NSFW one; there's some salty language near the end of the clip.)
A couple highlights of the interview:
- Galifianakis: "Which [of your children] is your favorite -- Ashton?"
- Galifianakis: "What are you talking about, Willis? Ever heard that before?"
Willis: "No. It's a little easy, I gotta tell you."
Galifianakis: "Look who's talking."
- Willis, on the '80s: "Women were much cleaner. ... Patent leather shoes and women's toenails clicking on the pavement. ... You'll see. It's all parties, getting b*** up and down Hollywood Boulevard, my friend. Then the phone stops ringin' ... and you're sittin' in a room, and it's just you and all your cousins."
Willis, by the way, stars in the new movie "Red," which opens Friday (Oct. 15).
