Willow Smith signs with Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label
Willow Smith's energetic "Whip My Hair" song has been burning up the Web all week. Now we've found out that Will Smith's daughter has been signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label.
The nine year-old's first single, produced by newcomer Jukebox, has already gotten raver-than rave reviews. And her first debut video will be shot in Los Angeles at the end of September.
Can a duet with Justin Bieber be far off? We think not!
Jay-Z released a statement about his shining new star:
"We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow. She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious. It's rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career."
Did we mention that she's only nine-years-old?
