Will Arnett: No takers on Emmy mugging of Amy Poehler
Still basking in the Emmys afterglow, Will Arnett says he's disappointed no one took him up on his on-air offer that if someone should mug his wife, Amy Poehler, for the $500,000 in diamonds she was wearing, he'd split the money with them."I did not get any incoming calls on that," Arnett tells Zap2it. "I was surprised. It was a lot of money."
Arnett, starring in FOX's new comedy "Running Wilde," and Poehler of NBC's "Parks and Recreation," celebrated their seventh anniversary at the Emmys. With the two jobs and two sons, Archie, 2, and Abel, almost a month old, they're juggling constantly.
"You see the people you know either at work or at the Emmys, which is why going to something like that is fun, and you get to see people in one fell swoop," Arnett says.
"There are plenty of parents, who both work and have very demanding work schedules and you figure it out. I was watching TV last night and a couple had 11 children, and they work it out. It does seem completely unmanageable, but they made it work. We just do the best we can and what ends up happening, really what ends up suffering is your so-called social life."
