Tiffany Livingston JetBlue bust out: Panic attack or flotation device test?

Poor JetBlue! More bizarre (and scary) publicity for the beleaguered airline about people trying to get the heck off their planes by any means necessary.

First it was disgruntled flight attendant Steven Slater, quitting in a grand manner by swooshing down an emergency slide on the tarmac.

Now Tiffany Livingston, a 21-year-old Playboy model, tries to open a JetBlue plane door in mid-flight. Theories abound: Was it severe inflight anxiety and/or a test of her implanted flotation devices?

Livingston was on JetBlue Flight 522 on Thursday (Sept 9), flying from Orlando, Fla., to Newark, N.J., when she jumped out of her seat and tried to pry the door of the plane, according to the New York Daily News.

"She said she's gone through this before, but never this bad, and didn't have...her medication," a source told the paper. Medication? Is there an anti-jump-out-of-a-plane medication?

Her former agency admitted that she has had minor anxiety issues in the past. Livingston, who was a centerfold in a Japanese edition of Playboy, was placed under federal custody on Thursday.
