Rapper T.I. and wife arrested for alleged drug possession
Atlanta-based Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka Cottle were arrested late Wednesday (Aug 1) on drug possession charges.Seems sheriff's deputies smelled marijuana in their car after a traffic stop.
According to the LA Times, sheriff's deputies pulled over the rapper, 29, and his 36-year-old wife on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.
"During the course of the traffic stop, deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle," L.A. County sheriff's officials said in a statement.
T.I. and his wife "were found to be in possession of a controlled substance," the statement also read. They were taken to the West Hollywood sheriff's station and booked on possession charges.
T.I., a multiplatinum rapper with such hits as "Whatever You Like" and "Dead and Gone," is on probation after serving seven months in prison on weapons charges. He was released earlier this year.
Harris and Cottle each posted $10,000 bail and have been released from jail.

before anyone start judging take a look in the mirror. T.I. is only a man. Last time I checked Jesus Christ was the only perfect person to walk this earth. So what he got caught smoking weed. How many people out there smoke weed and dont get caught? It is only right that the media blow this up cause he is a super star. When over half of these stars have skeletons in their closet, they just haven't been found yet. I'm not a drug user but I'm not perfect either I know people make mistakes so I dont judge people. You all shouldnt do it either.
