Patriots' QB Tom Brady OK after car crash, will play on Sunday
Tom Brady is OK. We repeat, Tom Brady is OK.
Brady told the New England Patriots' media peeps that he is okay after he was in a car accident early Thursday (Sept 9) morning in Boston.
Brady was at Gillette Stadium, attending meetings ahead of Sunday's season opener. According to the Washington Post, he did practice with the team this afternoon. And according to the Patriots Twitter, he will be in the locker room shortly to talk to press.
The two-car accident, which occurred at about 6:34 a.m., involved an Audi sedan driven by Brady, and a minivan.
A passenger in the minivan was unconscious, removed via the jaws of life and taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital, police said.
The crash was not Brady's fault. The minivan ran a red light and struck Brady's car at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street.
