Michael Grimm proposes to girlfriend on 'Ellen' after winning 'America's Got Talent'

Michael Grimm just won Season 5 of "America's Got Talent" -- is he going to Disneyland? Nope. Better. He's proposing to his girlfriend on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that airs Friday (Sept. 17). Grimm tells Ellen he dedicated his winning performance of "When a Man Loves a Woman" to Lucy Zolcerova, his girlfriend of three years. So Ellen calls Lucy down from the audience and he surprises her with a marriage proposal, then performs "You Don't Know Me."
Michael tells Ellen, "She's been there for me...Once you find that good woman you hang on to her." Lucy, of course, says yes.
Congratulations to Michael Grimm on his engagement and his "America's Got Talent" win. Very exciting!

Awww. It is so nice to see a genuine person succeed. Michael Grimm stole my heart the first time I saw him on AGT. All the best for him and his finance in their future.

It was so adorable, and his preformance on the show was great too.
One thing that i noticed most about his interview was that he spoke more about building a house for his grandparents [which is great. don't get me wrong] and didn't really mention his headline show in Vegas. I don't know if he is going on the AGT Tour or if the show isn't starting up for a bit or whatever, I'm just eager to see him there.
Finally a singer and musician worth more than a mil! What an awesome voice to go with a down to earth guy. Best of luck to Michael and his gal, and of course with his new career!
I knew this guy (Michael Grimm)...He is talented as hell and although he was not a household name, he did more then just play small bars & clubs. He opened for Heart, worked in the studio with Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and has put out multiple CD's. He is not a bad guy but isn't as "genuine" or "down to earth" as you might think. Michael needs a lesson or two on how NOT TO SNUB people that support him. Again, not a bad guy too much of an ego to say hi or bye to the "little people" is a real turn-off. His fiance is a really really nice girl.

Michael seems to be an extremely humble person. He mentions his grand parents in every interview. I shed a tear or two when he won. His grand parents must be so proud..he's truly grateful for their support. Does he have any siblings and what about his parents? No mention of anyone else in his family. Congratulations on your AGT win Michael and your engagement. Stay true to yourself and never forget where you came from. God Bless You! P.S. My daughter Sandy and I voted for you (first time ever voting). My son Carlos went to level 2 on Idol and he is going to audition for AGT this coming season (Denver).
I thought this show was for amateurs,Grimm is a pro.
Michael Grimm is a helluva good singer.So glad he won. I voted for him whenever I had never voted before. Michael be yourself, don't forget where you come from, and treat that cutie of yours like gold. Lucy be good and supportive to him. Don't let jealousy and fame come in between ya'll.
