Larry King and Ryan Seacrest sing Lady Gaga. Yikes.
You remember Lady Gaga dressing up like Larry King when she was a guest on his show earlier this year, right? Well, on Thursday (Sept. 2), King sort of returned the favor.
Don't worry: the septuagenarian talk-show host did not don one of Gaga's over-the-top outfits. He did, however, attempt to sing part of "Poker Face" with Ryan Seacrest. The results were -- how to put this -- bad. Amusing, but not really pleasing to the ears, as you can see and hear in the video above.
King was a guest on Seacrest's radio show Thursday, and they had a long and wide-ranging chat about King's career, his departure from CNN later this year and whether he might return to radio. He also told Seacrest that he's been asked to be a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars" in the past.
"Having interviewed all the people that go on and listened to what they go through ... no," King says. "I just think it's embarrassing. I'm not a dancer, but my wife [Shawn Southwick], I think -- I'm telling them now, ask her."
And then, oh dear lord, then there was the "Poker Face" duet. "Is this my career, is this it?" King jokes before they start, to which Seacrest replies, "This could be mine, I don't know."
Let's just say that it's good Seacrest hosts "American Idol" and doesn't sing on it, and that if King does return to radio, he should probably stick to talk.
